Teaming up with VistaPrint to get you started on your new career with promotion gear

http://vistaprint.tellapal.com/a/clk/qL1Zp  This is what got me started promoting  my MUA career.  I didn't want to spend big bucks on promotion tools so my Sis/Partner, Professional Hair Stylist Ko Andrews put me on to Vistaprint.com.  I had gotten 250 free business cards to get me started.  Then they sent a lot of free offers to for other matching promotion tools and it was very inexpensive and personal.  I really can say always I have a great experience with them.  Quick tip:  Always use paypal to pay for merchandise of an unknown site.  NEVER trust your money, or card number with a website that you are not familiar with.  If they offer pay pal as an option take it.  I hope you really capitalize on this, it will benefit you and your business in the long run.  Good luck! Mineral pigments VS Palettes

Today marks a new time and place for makeup lovers.  We have so many choices to choose from it may be confusing of what works the best.  For me I use from the least expensive to the pricier brands.  I try not to stick myself in a specific category of makeup.  A makeup sister of mine Ross the Boss, had a case load of mineral eye shadows from Pureluxecosmetics.com. Ross said that they were very pigmented and she loves them.  I looked @ this website a few month ago when surfing the web looking for something new but passed it over as "one of those websites!"  Another makeup sister of mine hannaH, told me that they were selling $1 samples of over 100 colors and had to check it out.  I have to say that I think I'm in love with the colors I chose.  The only thing about being a makeup artist and pigments is that you have to find storage for all those lil bottles and I'm more of a palette girl.  Here's a photo of my 42 matte palette along with hannaH samples of pure luxe eyeshadows.  With palettes I can bunch lots of colors into a flat case and use the other room for more goodies.  Maybe I'll buy a bigger makeup case...

So you think you know beauty?

If you think you know beauty, I ask you this? How can you cover a face with makeup and not prep or protect the skin beneath?  Once you take off your makeup the true you is uncovered.  Some people can't go anywhere without there face.  I can, but I choose not.  I am advertising my business through my face followed by my skin care.  I do not always wear makeup, sometimes I need my skin to breath and just do tinted lip balm and oil blotting sheets. Of course I feel kind of weird, but it's me.  I am not flawless, I have natural hair, fading blemish marks that are not concealed, oily skin, and chapped lips.  One thing that I can say I'm vein about is my brows!!! ; ) You will not see me with a uni... No sir never! LOL  I don't know what I would do if I had to evacuate my home. First thing I will grab is my brow powder, then my brow liner, and of course my cute studded tweezers that my clients love!

The moral of this is: If you are planning to wear makeup or already do, always make sure you have a skincare regimen that works for your skin type. Below is a chart of what to use to keep your skin radiant and glowing as well as  when to use it.  I hope this will help you understand that importance of skincare whether you wear makeup or you don't.  You can surely be of service to your skin now, instead of waiting until we see those first signs of aging.  For your body most people bathe at least two times a day-it should be the same for your face, except you are using products for your face.
